Manama, July 15 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for issuing decree 24/2020 on setting up clubs in the form of commercial companies in accordance with the Commercial Companies Law.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the issuance of the decree underlined HM the King’s keenness to support the youth and sport sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also commended the efforts and support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed SCYS’ keenness to present the initiative to transform clubs into commercial companies to continue the sport industry and promote the youth and sport sectors in Bahrain in the prosperous era of HM the King. He described the law as a historic milestone in Bahrain’s sport, adding it is totally consistent with HM the King’s vision to further develop Bahrain sport. He noted that the issuance of the decree will pave the way for a big stride for the sport clubs and will serve the national economy.
